Privacy, in plain words.
This page says what TideOps LLC collects, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. It describes how we actually work, in ordinary language. If a question isn't answered here, email hello@tideops.io.
What we collect on this website
The only information this site collects is what you type into the consultation form: your name, business email and phone, your business name, headcount and revenue range if you give them, and your answers to five short questions about where your business loses time. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't set cookies.
The form is delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, a third-party email relay. Your submission passes through their service on its way to us and is handled under their terms. We use the information to reply to you and to prepare for the consultation, nothing else.
What we collect during an assessment
An assessment involves conversations about how your business runs and, with your permission, documents such as estimates, reports and forms. We record and transcribe interviews only when you've agreed to it beforehand. We ask for the smallest set of documents the work needs, and we don't ask for payroll records, bank details or customer personal data unless a specific finding requires it and you've agreed.
How AI tools are involved
We use AI tools, including Anthropic's Claude, to analyze transcripts and documents during an assessment. That means some of your business information is processed by those providers under their business terms. We share only what the analysis needs, and we'll tell you which tools we're using on your engagement if you ask.
What we never do
- Sell your information, or share it with anyone outside the work we're doing for you.
- Use your business's information in marketing without your written permission.
- Record a conversation without asking first.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our email. Assessment materials are kept for the length of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward so we can answer follow-up questions, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
Email hello@tideops.io to see what we hold about you or your company, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll confirm when it's done. We'll sign a mutual NDA before an assessment if you'd like one.
Changes
If our practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top moves.
